Great Lakes Publishing Acquires Lake Erie Living, Over the Back Fence, and Lake Erie Travel Guide

greatlakesT-webGreat Lakes Publishing is proud to announce the acquisition of Lake Erie Living magazine, Lake Erie Travel Guide, Over the Back Fence magazine, related e-mail newsletters and the Web sites, and from Long Point Media.

These publications are a perfect fit with our strategy of serving readers who are extremely passionate about their lifestyle,” said Great Lakes Publishing President Lute Harmon Jr. “If you have a home, cottage or boat on the lake, it is something very connected to who you are.  The same is true for residents of Southeast Ohio, who feel a strong connection to the region’s charming towns and natural beauty.

Lake Erie Living and Over the Back Fence are quality publications, and we are excited to have them under the Great Lakes Publishing umbrella,” Harmon added.

Lake Erie Living prints 25,000 copies of each issue, which are distributed to readers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan and Ontario. Each magazine is dedicated to the “Good Life on a Great Lake.”

Over the Back Fence is described as “Southern Ohio’s Own Magazine.” It profiles the great people, exciting events and endless outdoor adventures in the southern portion of the state. Published six times a year, Over the Back Fence is distributed to 14,000 subscribers and newsstand readers.

The Lake Erie Travel Guide is published annually in January and is distributed to 100,000 travelers around the lake. This publication provides Lake Erie vacationers with detailed information on lodging, events and attractions for their trip planning.
